The Sugar Busters Diet – menu examples

Sugar Busters diet is a low-carb diet. The basis for this diet are to eliminate sugar on the principle that it brings us extra weight and harms our health. Starting from this idea simple sugars or/and refined one are removed. Sugar Busters recommends eliminating foods with high glycemic index and replacing them with foods of small and medium-GI which are high in fiber.
Even if the sugar busters diet consumpted calories are not taken into account, it is recommended to pay attention to portions.
An example of the most used menu includes:
At breakfast:
- an orange
- oatmeal cooked with water, without added sugar or margarine
At lunch:
- turkey or chicken salad or
- turkey sandwich with Swiss cheese and rye bread, Dijon mustard, lettuce, tomatoes
A Snack:
- grapes (1 / 2 cup) or a medium apple
At dinner:
- integral pasta with tomato sauce or souffle of zucchini / courgettes
